I'm helping my aunt to sell her homemade CNY cereal goodies. It has 2 flavours - chocolate & strawberry. It's basically cereal covered in those 2 flavours. Personally, I like the chocolate one a tad better; the strawberry one tastes a little too bland for my taste. Please place ur order if u like to buy~ It's $6 per container of 25 pieces. CASE-BEARING MOTHS




So named because the larvae carry their pupal cases about as they feed and travel, case-bearing moths are much less likely to be found in your home than the Common Clothes moth.


Look for the faint, dark smudges on the wings of the adult. The wings have a very slight, darker, dusky appearance, compared with the clothes moth, giving it a slightly dull appearance.

The eggs are visible only under a low-power microscope. The larva of the Case-Bearing moth is much more easily identified because of their cases, open on one end, and dragged about, wherever they go. The larvae only expose the first few segments, staying within their case for protection.


The larvae never leave their cases, and when ready to pupate, will seal off both ends of the case, and when the adult finally emerges, they cut through the end of the thin silken case. The Case-bearing moth is usually found around carpets and heavy woolen draperies. Case-bearing clothes moths are not that economically important, certainly not as much as the common clothes moth.


Damage to articles may consist of irregular surface feeding or holes eaten completely through the fabric. Oftentimes, the larvae leave the material they developed on and can be seen crawling slowly over walls or ceilings. The casemaking clothes moth, in particular, may travel considerable distances from the infested article to spin its cocoon in a protected crack, or along the juncture of a wall and ceiling.


The best way to avoid problems with clothes moths is through prevention. Woolens and other susceptible fabrics should be dry cleaned or laundered before being stored for long periods. Cleaning kills any eggs or larvae that may be present and also removes perspiration odors that are attractive to the pests.

Can someone kindly enlighten mi wad the heck is this? lol.. has been spotting this in my hse for quite some time, on & off. It's like a kind of 'cocoon' for some insect. Tot it was some dust initially, but it was moving right in front of mi! It turns out to be tat there's some worm or insect inside the 'cocoon'. The interesting thing is tat the 'cocoon' appears to move while the insect is inside.

AND it sticks itself to the wall or ground (normally on the wall) at one end. The 'cocoon' feels papery and looks like dust and is always in similar size! However, each time i found this, there is no longer any insect inside (i guess). So, someone please tell mi wad it is! Curiosity is killing mi! And pls, the image is zoomed in, so it's not so big in actual size.

Haha.. Familiar heading each time a new year starts.

I've got lots of them this year. :P

1. Get my driving license - I hope i can pass on the first try!

2. Be more motivated in studies~ haha.. guess as u grow older, u have less motivation for that.

3. Learn cooking! (I wan my 麻婆豆腐，麻油鸡，铁板豆腐... drooling~)

4. Exercise more and gain a little more weight - hit 48-50 range?

5. Save more $$$

6. Go overseas! I wan Taiwan

I guess that's all for now.. Keke. Quite ambitious~ :P got to plan my time well lo.. :)
